Raven in Damaskus

About the film

After the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Syria faces an uncertain political future and large parts of the country lie in ruins. In Damascus, Nourah meets DJs Philippe, Maher and Ahmed, who are rebuilding the city’s rave scene. Through techno, they test the limits of newly won freedoms without knowing how long those freedoms will last.
